BlackRock's iShares Expanded Tech Sector ETF (IGM) continues its 22-year streak of outperforming the S&P 500, with analysts predicting another victory in 2026. The $3.3 trillion ETF arm of the world's largest asset manager maintains concentrated exposure to AI leaders through its top-heavy portfolio structure.

Nearly 57% of the fund's assets concentrate in just ten positions, creating Leveraged exposure to dominant tech players. This strategic weighting mirrors crypto investors' approach to blue-chip digital assets like BTC and ETH, where concentrated positions often drive outsized returns.

The ETF's cross-sector methodology captures tech-adjacent opportunities in communications and consumer discretionary sectors - a diversification tactic reminiscent of crypto portfolios blending infrastructure tokens (SOL, DOT) with AI-focused assets (RNDR, FET).
